Does anyone know where online I can find cell phone numbers for the sales prospects I call on each day? I am a cold calling telephone sales rep. Each call consist of greeting the gatekeeper, asking who is in charge of ordering the supplies, chemicals, small equipment etc.. If I am lucky, I will atleast get a name. My problem is that when I do finally get my contact on the phone and sell him, I am only half way through. All orders must be confirmed . Eighty percent of my sales come from employees who do not sit at a desk.These men and women are never in the same place for too long. So, without there cell phone number, the chances of each deal getting confirmed by the order desk in a timely manner decreases immensely. Now, obviously I do get a small majority of clients who have no problem giving me there cell #. Also, I do ask every secretary, admin assistant, and what I usually refer to as the gatekeeper but lets face it, there job is to keep me the salesman from taking there time up as well as sell them anything. Of course I love it when my extension rings and one of my steady clients needs to place an order but thats one out of 100. If there are any marketing professionals, social media experts, or anyone that can hopefully toss out some ideas that could help me I would highly appreciate it. Lastly, my list of possible online sites so far consist of Facebook, Myspace, Google, Yahoo, Pipl, and Bing. I know there are many more but I am at a stand still. I already work 40 hours a week dialing numbers so spending another 6 hours at night seems crazy but I want to succeed so bad I am dreaming about it. Think I am going to snap soon. lol. I know that there was a law trying to get passed that would allow telemarketers to look up personal cell phone numbers and to be honest, I am so happy it failed. I already get enough calls each night either during dinner or getting my 3 children, ages 2, 4, and 5 1/2 to bed so I can clean up the house before my wife gets home from her 3 to 11:00 shift. Not feeling sorry for myself, just trying to figure out why one, or two children wasnt enough. Ha ha. If anyone knows of a site that does a good search or has a sizeable database of cell numbers let me know. I am already prepared to pay money to join a site or two. Seems all the free sites are never really free. Thanks again.

It seems that most computer buyers don’t realize how much power they waste (and how much money it costs them over the years) by using a video card instead of buying a motherboard with built on video. I’m looking for a name brand motherboard (Asus, Abit, Gigabyte, EVGA, Intel, MSI, etc) that can play 1080p smoothly with its built on video. I don’t do any gaming.
Perhaps I should first look at what video chipsets will do that?
Then search for motherboards that use those chipsets?
When you go to vendor’s websites they usually don’t have the DVI OUT option in their search parameters.
DDR-3 has lower power consumption as well as minor improvements in performance (also its often even cheaper than DDR-2 right now) so hopefully the motherboard will use DDR-3 memory. 4 memory slots would be nice but with 4gb chips so common now 2 slots would be fine.
Firewire, USB-3, E-Sata are all nice but I can get cheap PCI-Ex1 cards for those If I need them later. (Of course when USB-3 catches on you’ll only need 1 USB-3 plug on your device that will output to a hub that supplies however many devices you use. Thunderbolt has far more capabilities.)
ATX, M-ATX, Micro-ATX should all be fine. I’m not sure if an ATX board normally consumes more power than smaller boards everything else being the same. Perhaps someone knows?
I wanted to use Socket 775 because the CPU’s are so cheap on the used market. I haven’t seen any i5, i7 CPU’s going for much less than 0 on the used market whereas the Socket 775 Core 2 Duo’s often go for as little as about . I don’t need the higher CPU speed right now.
LGA1155 – These CPU’s cost far more than LGA775 CPU’s. Don’t need the power right now.

The Intel board looks viable. Good choice. I’ll read up on that video chipset but it looks like it’ll do the job. The Firewire, HDMI and DVI outputs are nice touches. So many boards have nothing out except a couple of USB’s and VGA. Perhaps in the future we’ll have more plugs on board the motherboard that take up minimal space so you can just plug your header into it. The would sure give people a lot more flexibility. USB 3.0, Firewire 400, Fire 800, eSata, HDMI are all options some of us could use but most of us won’t. If USB 3.0 catches on that will sure streamline a lot of input complexities.

Hello everybody, I am a modest home user of 3 PCs of which two desktops, one in New York and one in Pennsylvania and one laptop which is, of course, sometimes in NY and sometimes in PA. I was looking for an internet security program and some computer pro folks recommended the avast! not only because it is free, but for being easily manageable for an amateur like me. So I searched a little for this avast IS and found out that the last version which follows the home edition 4.8 was 5.0. The beta version was launched with some little problems and the final version was promised for October. Now we are in the middle of October. Does anyone know if avast 5.0 home edition is already on the market or not, if yes where to download it from and if no, about when is it going to be found? And, oh, yes, is it going to be a problem if I download it three times if I am a one and only user? Thank you so much.
